Details →El Cajon is ten minutes from our Santee yard and one of the areas we work most. The city has a lot of older housing stock, which means a large share of our El Cajon work is replacement: pulling out fence that was installed decades ago, dealing with posts that were set badly or not set in concrete at all, and rebuilding property lines cleanly. We install wood, vinyl, iron, and chain link, and we repair as often as we replace.
El Cajon sits in a valley ringed by hills, and the valley floor traps heat — summer highs here run above the coast by a noticeable margin. That accelerates UV damage on wood and makes vinyl and iron popular. Older neighborhoods bring their own quirks: mature trees with root systems in the fence line, existing concrete that has to be broken out, and shared property lines where a neighbor's old fence is still standing.

Yes. Replacement is a large share of our El Cajon work. Demolition, old post and concrete removal, and haul-away are quoted as part of the job so there is no surprise at the end.
It is worth agreeing before work starts on who is paying for what and exactly where the line sits. We are happy to walk the line with both parties during the estimate. If the fence is being stained afterward, Tom Sawyer offers a discount when both sides are done at once.
We repair. Leaning posts, rotted boards, storm damage, and sagging gates are all fixable, and on plenty of El Cajon fences repair is the honest recommendation rather than a full replacement. We will tell you which one your fence needs.
About 10 minutes east from our Santee yard. Call or send the details and we will schedule a measure.
